About This Online Program

This Exquisite Body, The Body Image & Mindful Eating program is an online program that provides support to individuals who struggle with their relationship with food and body image. This program will help individuals to explore their relationship with their body and food, to debunk body stereotypes and dieting myths and develop a more satisfying and loving relationship with their body and self. Through neuroscience and storytelling This Exquisite Body Program encourages participants to achieving a healthy relationship with food and to accept themselves and their bodies in their natural form.

Who This Program Is Designed For

The program is designed for every individual 18+ who would benefit from an improved body image, increased self-awareness and understanding, improved confidence, and a healthier and sustainable relationship with food.

This program is suitable for health care professionals working in the eating disorder and body image space who would like additional tools in supporting their clients.

This program is suitable for parents who would like support in how to foster positive body image and acceptance and encourage a healthy relationship with food for their children.

How This Program Works

This program is 100% online and can be completed at your own pace within a six-month time period from the date of registration.

The program will run over six consecutive weeks, with each session taking approximately 1 hour to listen to the audio content.

The program will introduce a new topic each week, with relevant experiential activities for participants to complete in the comfort of their own space and privacy.

Each session consists of:

  • Short video of Diane McGeachy discussing the weekly topic
  • 30-60-minute audio recording discussing the weekly topic in depth
  • Short video concluding each week

Week One
Throughout Week 1, participants will engage in self-reflection, learning about mindful eating, understanding societal influences, exploring trauma and healing, setting goals, and embracing self-acceptance. The aim is to promote holistic well-being and a positive relationship with oneself and food.

Week Two
Throughout Week 2, participants will engage in self-reflection through life mapping, exploring the impact of past experiences on body image and food relationships. They will also practice mindful observation and reflection, set SMART goals, and consider quotes about beauty and comparison. The aim is to foster self-awareness, challenge societal beauty standards, and promote acceptance and gratitude for oneself.

Week Three
In Week 3, the course emphasizes mindful eating, hunger awareness, meal planning, and holistic health assessment. Participants engage in mindful eating exercises, reflect on hunger, and learn meal planning strategies. The week ends with setting goals, expressing gratitude, and countering self-criticism. Inspirational quotes by Jiddu Krishnamurti prompt reflection.

Week Four
During week 4, participants reflect on introjects' origins, seeking affirming perspectives and setting achievable goals. They emphasize inner qualities beyond appearance, expressing gratitude and practicing self-compassion. Inspirational quotes reinforce resilience and self-transformation, fostering self-awareness and empowerment on their journey towards authenticity.

Week Five
During week 5, participants nurture themselves, explore emotions as a natural wave, and set empowering goals. They appreciate their resilience, reflect on past experiences, and emphasize self-acceptance. The week encourages embracing emotions for growth, reinforced by inspiring quotes.

Week Six
During week 6, participants reflect on their journey and embrace meaningful change, shifting from societal expectations to a fuller life configuration. The focus is on building strong foundations, setting authentic goals, and taking proactive steps for self-empowerment and transformation.
